Welcome to the website of

Editorial Services

If you have an academic, technical or educational product that needs editing, or draft text that needs guiding through to publication, then you need me. By hiring me you will have chosen a well-rounded publishing professional, a creative and diplomatic problem-solver with a client-focused approach. I am friendly, responsive, have very keen attention to detail and am able to work to tight deadlines. I am based in the cathedral city of Durham, England.

Currently I manage a medical journal and several multi-volume book projects. I am looking to expand my editorial project management portfolio in 2018. I can also undertake copy-editing work in the fields of medicine, biology, schools science and beyond. Do get in touch!

I am well placed for development editing, copy-editing and project management of schools textbooks being written or versioned for the new system of GCSEs. My portfolio extends to primary maths and science too. Contact me for details of how I can help.

In March this year I attended a Publishing Training Centre workshop on project management tools for editorial professionals. I learned about some interesting approaches to managing projects efficiently and proactively, and am looking forward to putting them into practice! You can read about my experience on the PTC blog page. I also wrote about my favourite PM tools in Editing Matters magazine.
